Ula

Inspired by the natural world around us and particularly around water, Ula (jewel of the sea) is a Brighton-based ceramics studio founded by Annie Lyle. With observed elements of nature flowing directly into the works, Annie uses clay as her main medium, comparing intrinsic elemental feelings to working with the medium itself -"earthly, alive and with memory". Through her unique works, Ula aims to remind people of earth's beauty and our connection to it.
